Seminyak's key streets — Jl Laksmana, Jl Kayu Aya, and the beach road — can get very busy with taxis and tourist shuttles, especially around sunset. On a scooter you can use the side lanes, park right outside any restaurant, and make it to the beach for sunset in minutes rather than sitting in traffic.
